Wellspring: which is better?

Been playing around on photoshop with my final image and have come out with two different versions... Any feedback as to which one is better?


1st version with more structure to the lines... More digital than hand drawn....

2nd version, less structure to lines... More hand drawn than digital...

    would be nice if you could click on them and see larger.. but agreeing with kyle.. the top is stronger.. but im jealous of anyone who can get hand drawn elements into their work well.. bottom would need a lil more tweaking if you wanted to keep hand drawn.. or jus stick with the top one and be done :)

    i'll be a bit controversial and say i like the bottom one better. they're both really cool, but i love the kind of scratchy white lines and seems to give a bit more space between the black, and so it stands out a bit more for me. Kind of gives it a sense of movement. Both are cool though, nice one!
